Blacklight Run

Healthy events happen year-round at South Padre Island and the Blacklight Run is no different! This event focuses mostly on having fun and glowing together! It’ll be held on Saturday, November 10^th starting at 5:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM at 6900 Padre Blvd. Some more info includes:

• Is a 5k run (about 3 miles)
• Is family-friendly
• $20 entry until November 7^th which will change to $50 afterward. A VIP option is also available.

FAM Fest

This film, art and music festival will hit South Padre Island for a three-day weekend full of workshops for filmmakers, industry panels, art vendors, music and international film showings starting on November 16^th and ending on the 18^th. It will be held at the South Padre Island Convention Centre. Here are some more details:

• Catherine Hardwicke, director of films such as Twilight and Thirteen, will be in attendance
• Painters, sculptors, jewelry makers and other artists will be there
• Is a family-friendly event

A’lante Flamenco

Along with the FAM Festival comes this beautiful flamenco show from Austin, Texas. A’lante Flamenco will take place on November 16^th and 17^th at 7:30 PM at 5908 Padre Blvd. The fee is $25 per person. Get your tickets here. 

Veterans Day Country Concert

Veterans Day is quickly approaching, and a free concert is making a wave in South Padre Island! Join local rock band Whiskey D. on an epic, weekend-long concert series you won’t want to miss. It’ll be held on November 11^th starting at 6:15 PM until 9:00 PM at The Greens (209 W. Whiting St.).
